Regeneration Phase 2
The Dolphin House & Park Regeneration Board have been working closely with Dublin City Council, despite the Covid-19 restriction, on revised plans for Phase 2 of the regeneration and the development new community facilities. The Regeneration Board and the Dolphin House Community Development Association have recently commenced a detailed dialogue with Dublin City Council architects’ department and Housing section with aim of having an updated Regeneration Masterplan and timeline that will be presented to the whole community for consultation in the near future.Â
Demolition of the long blocks
The City Council is currently completing the tender process for a demolition contractor for the two long blocks. The City Council has informed the Regeneration Board that once the two Long Blocks are empty and suitable accommodation is found for the remaining residents works will commence on demolition in coming months. Residents will be informed well in advance of any works taking place.
